Comer en familia aumenta el consumo de fruta y verduras en los niños - Globovision





Study shows that children who have meals with their families consume more fruits and vegetables than children who do not have meals with their families.

Also, children whose parents serve cut fruit and vegetables eat more servings of fruits and vegetables than children of those parents who do not serve cut fruit and vegetables.  

I've always jokingly told parents to get their kids to eat something all they have to do is cut up some cantaloupe  for example, and sit down to eat it.  I maintain that kids will come and beg you for some.
